Beer-in-Box can be used easily on existing lines
To serve beer-in-box beer is really easy. Compared to regular draft beer, you only add the Carbonator and a pressure regulator to your existing dispense installation. The required CO2 to re-carbonate the beer in most cases is already available in the current setup.
Standalone dispensers with build-in Carbonator - Through the beer-in-box network, CARBOTEK offers various stand-alone dispensers with integrated Carbonator and cooling system. These systems are most suitable for smaller locations and temporary and/or mobile setups.
Upgrading existing KEG beer dispense lines - Per beer line, one Carbonator is installed typically underneath the counter. The installation effort is about 20 minutes per line. Because of the flexibility of the system, any existing KEG beer line can be upgraded.
Good to know
Serial connection - For high capacity dispensing, the beer boxes can be easily connected in series vertically. Empty boxes can be disconnected and replaced during dispense.
Cooling and carbonation - Cooling can be done as with any KEG beer. Cold room storage, refrigerated counters, flow-through coolers (dry, glycol or ice based). Choose the option that is most favorable for your situation.
The Carbonator is placed right beside your beer boxes. So in case of a flow-trough cooler this means the beer is carbonated at ambient temperature. This is a big win ! You can carbonate first and cool down after.
Connecting boxes to the line - The cardboard box is opened at the perforated area and the bag-spout is right in place to be connected. Then the line side connector is pushed into the bag-spout and dispensing can start. By removing the connector the bag-spout re-closes again.
Particular suitable when logistics are getting harder - Beer-in-box is great for system gastronomy, event gastronomy, and locations with challenging logistics such as boats, cruise ships, mountain venues, islands or long distance transportation in general.
