Convert your KEG beer into BiB beer

This trial is designed for small volumes (one or two kegs) and offers the possibility for youself to test your own beer in beer-in-box format. Make a taste panel or receive some initial consumer reactions. As well this offers the possibility to become familiar with the carbonation technology.

What we need from you

  • Some kegs (max 90 lit in total)
  • As many keg couplers as you send us kegs

What you will get

  • Your CO2 degassed beer, filled into 25 lit bags
There will be about 20% loss of the keg beer volume, when we transfer it into beer-in-box format.
  • Corresponding couplers to connect the bags
  • A carbonator and a pressure regulator that enables you to recarbonate beer during dispense.
  • Your empty kegs and the couplers

What you can expect

  • This is just a rough approach to become familiar with the beer-in-box concept.
  • The beer quality that you receive will no be perfect mainly because of the influence of oxygen, but it provides a good hands on experience..
  • Microbiological analysis (filled keg and filled bags)
If the kegged beer is ok (microbiological point of view), also the bag-in-box beer will be ok.

Costs

  • Shipping cost to Ankerbrau Nördlinge and back to you.
  • Degassing and filling into bag-in-box: 350 EUR
  • Deposit: Carbonator and double pressure regulator (2x7 bar): 400 EUR
You will receive the money back by returning the devices.
